Have you ever found yourself working on a project and nothing is going right?

I recently found myself struggling with a new project I’m working on. Everything seemed so difficult and I simply wasn’t making any progress.

I took some time out, got a cup of tea (yes, I know, terribly British of me) and read a few emails.

One inspired me to write a post at my Bob Proctor’s Science of Getting Rich site because it hit home with exactly what I was experiencing at that time.

I’d found myself paddling upstream, fighting everything instead of getting in the flow.

The universe was telling me I was working on the wrong project.

And here’s the real hard bit; the real challenge; the do I or don’t I moment

Should I trust my instincts and my heart and what I was being told or should I carry on with the project regardless?

It’s easy to reach a conclusion to go either way but much more of a challenge to actually see the decision through.

1. Sticking with the project (we’ll call in Project one)

  • That would entail more struggle – I still wasn’t progressing
  • It would be the obvious thing to do as I was sure I was on the right path
  • It would mean some toying with the idea of spending money on a top quality copywriter or to try to come up with a masterpiece myself. And that’s not my forte nor was I getting any inspiration as to0 the angle I needed
  • It would be easier to go on with something I was already working on rather than find something else

2. Postponing the project and moving on

  • I could easily accuse myself of jumping ship
  • I could argue I was flitting from idea to something better that wouldn’t get completed either!
  • I didn’t know what the alternative project was at that point!
  • It may be much easier to complete

The balance looked in favour of completing the project I was working on, but something kept niggling away and I decided I would look to go with the flow.

As soon as that decision was made things “miraculously” started to fall into place!

One of the DVDs  I was planning on promoting (Project one) contained some live footage of Bob Proctor (The Secret). I decided to watch it or rather I was “attracted” to watch it.

That led me to follow up on a reminder that popped up on my screen to revisit the Science of Getting Rich affiliate program.

Something was at work and I found I was definitely in the flow. I quickly created a new site, a new blog post promoting the site and I initiated a Synnd campaign to generate the Social Buzz I wanted around the project. I’d set up a new autoresponder series and created an opt-in on the blog.

All within a few hours of making the decision I should not be struggling but going with the flow.

I’m now writing an e-book for that project and the words are flowing.

And the real revelation?

I’ve seen how simply I can fit Project One into the back end of the new project.

So thanks to that one email, Bob Proctor’s Science of Getting Rich program and a leap of faith I took a massive leap forward with not only the project I was struggling with but created a new one virtually out of thin air to go with it.

I love this Law of Attraction thing sometimes!
